Netherlands - Enthusiasm looks different ... Golden Retriever Bearson doesn't seem to be a fan of fruit at all.

Bearson's owner recently shared a curious video on TikTok . And in it, the dog looks anything but happy.

In the clip, you can see his owner holding out a halved orange to him, to which the four-legged friend reacts unimpressed.

Instead of sniffing the fruit and showing even the slightest interest in it, he avoids it. Irritated, he turns his head to the side and seems to be asking his owner what the hell he is doing.

But he just won't give up. He keeps holding the orange under his nose - and seems to be getting on the animal's nerves.

"I just like chicken more", Bearson's owner rhymed the dog's thoughts in the caption.

In a second TikTok post, Bearson's owners joked: "How to reduce the amount of food your dog eats without him noticing."

They shared a picture of their favorite and the orange - whereupon he once again consistently turned his head to the side so as not to have to look at the fruit.

In another photo, the golden retriever looks reproachfully into the camera. "I will never forgive you for that," wrote his owner from his perspective.

It seems that the sliced orange has led to a real loss of trust between the dog and his favorite humans. Let's hope that one day Bearson will forgive his treasures again. Perhaps a treat or two - preferably chicken - will help.
