Dog abandoned on the roadside: How she reacts to her rescue after 5 weeks is so close
California (USA) - For five weeks, a little dog lived alone in the bushes by the side of the road after being abandoned by her beloved family. Then a helpful lady took notice of her.

Crystal immediately set to work to make the four-legged friend as comfortable as possible. She not only brought her some food, but also a transport box for her to crawl into - to protect her from the wind and weather.
Crystal then contacted animal rescuer Suzette Hall. And she set off immediately.
However, not everything went as smoothly as she had hoped. At first, Hall set traps every day to catch the furry friend - but to no avail. Shortly afterwards, her car also broke down.
She still had her mother's car. However, her rescue equipment didn't fit in it. She had no other option - she had to call in outside help.
Shortly afterwards, her friend Lorena Zeballos from the "All Animal Search Reascue" team set off on a two-hour journey to lend Hall a helping hand.
The dog was finally rescued after five weeks!

The two women then gave it their all, got food for the dog and set traps again. And lo and behold: after several hours, the furry friend finally dared to enter the cage.
"Then she was finally safe," Hall rejoiced on her Facebook account. "At last, after weeks of lonely nights, pouring rain and living in a thicket, she finally knew she was safe."
And as if all that wasn't reason enough to be happy, the dog was also incredibly grateful. "She held out her paw to Lorena and seemed to thank her."
What a lovely happy ending!
