Portland (USA) - To get a good night's sleep, some of us need a certain pillow, others music and still others perhaps a little night light. A dachshund from the US state of Oregon insisted on having a cuddly toy next to him in bed every night. However, there was a catch.

Dachshund "Dinero" lives with his owner Sam Krieger in Portland , who diligently documents everyday life with her cute four-legged friend on Instagram.

Of course, the daily evening ritual was not to be missed, which not only made the dog owner laugh.

Ever since the cuddly toy called 'Deeno' moved in with Sam and her dachshund, the dog has insisted that the stuffed dinosaur is an essential part of his bedtime routine - whatever the cost.

Because the love for his "Deeno" not only cost Dinero a lot of nerves, but also a lot of muscle power: the cuddly toy was about twice the size of the dachshund itself.

As a result, it was a huge struggle every night for the little dog to even pick up the dinosaur with his mouth and then get it onto the bed.

"Imagine your dog has a cuddly toy for emotional support and brings it to bed every night," writes owner Sam about her video on Instagram.

Seeing the tiny dachshund struggling with the big cuddly toy to put it in the right place couldn't be funnier.

However, the love between Dinero and "Deeno" didn't last very long. Sam Krieger recently shared a photo on her Instagram story showing the cuddly toy completely ripped apart. Her dog looks innocently into the camera in the picture.
