Bloody scenes: Woman is seriously injured while protecting child (5) from Rottweiler
Yekaterinburg (Russia) - A video from Russia shows terrifying scenes : a woman lies protectively over a small child while an apparently aggressive dog stands behind them. There are clear traces of blood in the snow beneath them, while a man honks his horn loudly several times in the background. One rightly wonders - what is going on here?

The clip, which was recorded in Ekaterinburg, Russia, is said to have been taken shortly after a dog attack.
As News18 reports, the Rottweiler is said to have attacked the five-year-old child on the snow-covered street. The woman, who is apparently the boy's mother, did not hesitate for a second and threw herself at the child to prevent anything worse from happening.
Like a human shield, the woman shielded the five-year-old with her body from the four-legged friend, who would not let go of the two of them and kept baring his teeth threateningly.
According to the source, the blood came from the child's mother, who was seriously injured while fending off the Rottweiler .
Despite her wounds, the woman did not move an inch away from her son to continue protecting him.
Mother seriously injured in dog attack

The video was recorded by a driver who happened to pass by the scene. Even though the man made no attempt to get out of his car and help the mother and child, he at least tried to stop the dog from attacking them again by honking his horn loudly.
In the clip, you can see how another person joins in and threatens the vicious dog with a shovel.
A short time later, the Rottweiler's owner is said to have been located and took the four-legged friend away without saying a word.
The five-year-old's mother was then taken to hospital, where several injuries, including a serious fracture, were diagnosed. The boy at least remained physically unharmed.
The local police are now trying to solve the incident. Reactions on the internet, where the recording quickly made the rounds, are divided.
While many praise the mother for her courage and perseverance, others point out that the dog should not be blamed for the attack. After all, it is the dog owner's fault that the animal reacts so aggressively to people and has obviously been trained in this direction.
