London - Linn (26) is the proud owner of nine-month-old Ragdoll cat Willow. Ever since she got the velvet paw as a present, Linn says, "she's been my best friend".

"She's the sweetest little cat," Linn told Newsweek. "She's super smart, I've taught her a lot of different tricks. And she's the most affectionate cat you've ever met."

Willow follows Linn everywhere, won't stay in a room without her and even wakes her owner up every morning by "meowing to cuddle with me."

Over time, Linn noticed one particularly cute characteristic of her cat . "I stroke her face and every time I do, she strokes me back or puts her paw on my cheek," said the Englishwoman.

Linn never expected to capture this sweet gesture on camera one day - and she was surprised when she managed to do just that recently.

She shared the video on her TikTok account "littlewillow_ragdoll", where it has been viewed over 35,000 times since it was posted.

In the clip, Linn holds Willow in her arms and strokes her face. As she does so, the cat stretches out a paw and places it on Linn's face. Finally, she moves her paw and lets it glide gently over Linn's face.

Numerous animal lovers pounced on the cute clip, with one TikTok user writing: "Cats are very smart and mimic human behavior."

Another user posted: "My heart can't handle it."

Ragdoll cats are considered affectionate, playful and intelligent. The cat breed was first bred in the USA in the early 1960s.
