Woman rescues half-starved cat in Dubai, but she completely underestimated one problem
United Kingdom - While on vacation in Dubai, Aysha rescued a cat from starvation. However, after taking it home with her, she noticed a problem.

On her TikTok channel "ayshaexplores", the young British woman talked about her last trip to Dubai. As she was exploring the city, she found a half-starved kitten on the street, which was also blind in one eye.
Aysha decided to adopt the velvet paw and nurse it back to health. Together with animal rescuers, she organized the transfer to the UK.
However, Aysha had not considered one aspect: the cold weather. Once she arrived home, it quickly became apparent that the cat was having great difficulty getting used to its new surroundings and changed routine.
In a video, the young woman explained that the kitten was always cold, even with blankets and a hot water bottle.
The animal was adapted to the hot desert climate in its home country and was now facing the challenge of having to get used to completely new temperatures.
Viewers empathize with rescued kitten: "She'll get used to it"
Many viewers were heartbroken, worried about the cat and offered ideas on how to help her - for example with a heating mat or a special cat bed igloo.
Aysha admitted that she had slightly underestimated the situation. After an exchange with the vet, she placed heating beds and hammocks all over her house, which turned out to be useful.
Her desert cat now had several oases of warmth that she could switch between at any time, making it much easier for her to get used to her new life and the changed conditions.
"God bless her, she's so well looked after now," wrote one viewer. Another added: "She'll get used to it. She's so happy to have a home and you by her side now."
