USA - Deksy the cat has a really strange habit: he is constantly complaining - about everything and everyone. At least that's what it sounds like. Hardly a day goes by without the velvet paw meowing his head off. No wonder Deksy's owner affectionately calls him the "barking cat ".

The velvet paw has now even got its own TikTok account - where it entertains more than 3.8 million followers every day.

No matter whether Deksy is singing along to songs - including classics such as "Who Let the Dogs Out" and "I Gotta Feeling" - or whether he's upset about a dog barking. It seems as if this cat has a really pronounced need to communicate.

So it was all the more bizarre when his owner recently showed him a video in which he holds a recording of himself in front of Deksy's nose. And on it, how could it be otherwise, the cheeky dog meows his head off.

A fact that Deksy neither understands nor finds particularly funny. And so it comes as it must: The cat starts a fierce meow duel - with himself.

As soon as he makes a sound on the recording, the animal reacts immediately - and the two begin to argue loudly.

"So, who do you think won this discussion?" Deksy's owner finally asked in the comments section below the clip, which has already been clicked more than 4.6 million times.

Viewers couldn't help but laugh heartily at the video and the young man's question. A clear answer came in many times: "Well, who? The cat!"

But winner or not, one thing is certain: no matter who he talks to, Deksy the cat always has to have the last word.
