Queens (New York) - Many parents understand the saying: "It takes a whole village to raise a child." The meaning is not difficult to understand: People with offspring are better off when they have outside support. This is apparently also the view of a cat from New York , who displayed some cute behavior after the birth of her babies .

In a video on TikTok , velvet paw "Grandma" can be seen running into a room. Her owner Valeria Marie filmed the moment because her cat had something very specific in her mouth: her offspring!

One by one, they were carried into the room where Valeria was staying. Once there, the mother cat carefully placed her kittens in a padded box and let them suckle.

Her owner writes: "We were in another room for too long and she brought us her babies." In the video description, she adds: "I giggle so much, she's so cute."

Apparently, the animal knew that it would not only be safe around its owners, but would also receive love and attention.

The clip also warmed the hearts of viewers.

"She wants her whole family together 😭", enthuses one user. Another says: "Cats are communal parents, so you're a parent to the kittens for her too, making her feel safe and protected while she does her job :D"
