Bulldog wants to lie on the sofa, but there's a problem
Newcastle (UK) - Young bulldog Betsy has to take drastic measures to get her animal roommate out of her favorite spot. The funny video goes viral on TikTok .

Betsy was desperate to sit next to her owner Steven Wiley, but as a TikTok video from her owner shows, she couldn't muster the courage to take her cat roommate Gizmo's place.
The 16-month-old bulldog is the baby of the family. "We got her when she was five months old," her owner, Victoria Charlton, told Newsweek.
Charlton was determined to do everything right with the dog and trained a lot with her. This has paid off. Betsy is a great and well-trained companion, she confirmed: "She'll do almost anything for a treat." The young fur nose loves to be the center of attention and wants to be with her humans at all times.
But when it comes to family love, there is competition, because Gizmo the cat also claims a place in the family's heart.
Not best friends: Betsy and Gizmo
Even though Betsy and Gizmo don't necessarily fight, Charlton clearly notices that Betsy often prefers to keep her distance from the velvet paw. "She's the only one in the house that Betsy doesn't mess with," reveals Charlton.
Their complicated relationship has already led to a few arguments in the past, such as the one on Charlton's couch, captured in the viral TikTok clip. "Betsy hates it when Gizmo is next to one of us on the sofa. The best place for her is always next to us. So she either does the paw flick to ask us to put the cat somewhere else. Or she sits down and barks at them in the hope that Gizmo will jump down and she can take her place."
But at ten years old, the furry friend is no pushover and teases the bulldog back. "She's not scared of Betsy at all," says Charlton, "she sits next to Betsy's food bowls just to tease her."
There seems to be only one solution to this animal problem - a bigger couch is needed.
