Bear or human? This biped encountered a hunter in the forest
West Virginia (USA) - Bears on two legs are only known from films such as "Paddington" or the children's series "Winnie the Pooh". But this idea has now become reality when a hunter from West Virginia captured such a specimen with his camera.

According to a report by the US news channel USA Today, the two-legged bear lives in the south-west of the state of West Virginia, in the Appalachian Mountains.
Kirk Price, a hunter from the region, has already published several videos on Instagram of the curious two-legged creature, which he always captures with his wildlife cameras.
In an interview, he says that he saw the animal for the first time in 2018. Since then, however, it has more than doubled in size. He has only seen the bear himself once during a hunt. At that time, he had taken a closer look at the "front legs" of his encounter to determine whether he was born with them or whether a human had inflicted this suffering on him.
Price reports that the bear has "clean stumps", which leads the hunter to conclude that the two-legged creature is a very special fellow from birth.

"Whether you believe me or not, he walks a considerable distance despite his limitations! He has roughly an 8-kilometer radius in which he moves," he says.
Price himself hunts bears as well as various fallow deer and wild boar. "But I would never do anything to this particular bear," he says. "It really is one of a kind."
