Bald eagle stares at family dog with interest: The four-legged friend's reaction makes us laugh
Washington (USA) - A dog owner from Washington captures a bizarre video of a bald eagle staring at her four-legged friend with interest through the patio window. But the dog 's happy reaction looks different.

Stacy Gross posted the now viral video on her Instagram channel: A bald eagle looking at her dog Gnocchi as if he were his next meal.
Gnocchi's owners seem to think so too, because in the background of the video, Stacy can just be heard shouting "What the hell!" as she spots the impressive animal .
The American and her husband speculate about whether the gigantic bird would eat their four-legged friend. Stacy's husband is pretty sure it would, and thinks it might even carry the dog away.
But Gnocchi the dog shows no sign of wanting to test his master's theory. After the initial joy of having an animal companion, he no longer seems to be in awe.
Unsure whether he should be intimidated or excited, Gnocchi keeps flinching away from the window until he finally flees completely.
Wildlife experts give the all-clear
The couple noticed that there was a tag attached to the eagle, which meant it was being watched by a wildlife agency. Stacy and her husband must have contacted them, as she states in the caption that experts had come to assess their situation.
According to their assessment, the situation was completely harmless, as it appears that the bird was in a kind of "feeding coma". If bald eagles have eaten a large meal beforehand, they can be unable to fly for up to 48 hours. The huge specimen had made itself comfortable on the Gross family's terrace.
