Warning systems sound the alarm: Russian fighter jet spotted over Polish Baltic Sea
Gdansk (Poland) - Russian aircraft are repeatedly spotted near the borders of some NATO countries. However, this border was recently crossed by a fighter jet near the Polish metropolis of Gdansk.

As the Polish Operational Command announced in a post on the social media platform X , the Russian fighter jet was detected by Polish air surveillance radars yesterday (Tuesday).
The fighter jet is a Sukhoi Su-24 tactical bomber, nicknamed the "Fencer".
The Russian bomber flew a total of 6.5 kilometers through Polish airspace for 1:12 minutes before changing course.
The Polish authorities immediately contacted the Russian authorities.
They immediately admitted that the bomber's navigation system was faulty, which is why it had apparently entered Polish airspace by mistake.
