Private plane crashes to the ground: rescue workers find only remains

Greenville (North Carolina, USA) - For reasons as yet unexplained, a private plane crashed in Greenville in the US state of North Carolina on Friday. In the end, not much remained of either the people or the plane.

As reported by the Daily Express , police and rescue workers made their way to the crash site near the local airport at lightning speed after the crash .

According to eyewitnesses, the plane suddenly began a rapid descent and then hit the ground.

It narrowly missed a road and finally crashed into a bush.

The adjacent road had to be closed by the emergency services.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), there were two people on board. It was later announced in a press conference that only human remains were found at the scene of the accident.
