Private jet of "Mötley Crüe" star crashes into plane: Pilot dead, several injured!
Scottsdale (Arizona, USA) - A terrible accident at Scottsdale Airport! Two private jets collided on Monday afternoon (local time). One of the planes belonged to Vince Neil (64), singer of the US metal band "Mötley Crüe".

According toTMZ, Neil's private jet, which was coming from Austin (Texas), went off the runway on its approach and then collided with a parked Gulfstream 200 jet.
As Allen Kovac, manager of the band, confirmed to the celebrity portal, Neil was not on the plane at the time. Instead, his partner Rain Andreani (43) was on board with her girlfriend Ashley and several of the couple's dogs.
They all survived the crash, but suffered some serious injuries. Rain was taken to hospital with broken ribs. One pilot died, another survived. One person on the other plane also survived.
The band has since confirmed the accident on Platform X. "Neil's thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved in the crash and he is grateful for the important help of all the rescuers," the post read.

Main landing gear apparently failed

The accident occurred because the left main landing gear of the celebrity's private jet had apparently failed. Kelli Kuester, spokeswoman for Scottsdale Airport, said at a press conference.
Investigations into the plane accident are ongoing.
