Plane crashes in vacation resort: passengers save themselves before it goes up in flames
Isle of Wight/England - A terrible accident occurred at the weekend: An airplane crashed in the middle of a vacation resort and burned to the ground in front of tourists.

The two occupants of the plane, which crashed at around 2.30pm on Saturday, survived the crash and were treated by paramedics for minor injuries, according to the BBC.
Even though the passengers were able to leave the plane in time, several people rushed to their aid. They brought the injured to safety before the plane burst into flames just a short time later.
An eyewitness reported that the plane grazed a chimney as it lost power and later crashed to the ground.

He also stated that he had seen the plane catch fire.
In addition, shortly after the two occupants had left the plane, some people had already come running with fire extinguishers.
Tina, another resident, told the County Press that the plane struck the roof of her house and scattered some debris in the garden just moments after she entered her home. She described the event as terrifying.
The pilot of the plane even came to check on her after the accident.
"What a nice man to worry about the damage to the house when he was so lucky to be alive," says Tina.
