Pilot suffers heart attack: inexperienced wife takes the wheel!
Bakersfield (California/USA) - A woman in the US state of California has successfully landed a small plane without any flying experience ! Her husband had previously suffered a heart attack as the pilot of the plane with the two of them on board.

According to the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA ), a passenger on a twin-engine Beechcraft King Air 90 landed the plane at Meadows Field Airport, northwest of Bakersfield, at noon on Friday, Oct. 4 (local time).
The pilot had suffered a "medical emergency", it was reported. The plane was on its way from Las Vegas (Nevada) to Monterey (California).
As reported by theLos Angeles Times andCBS, the passengers were real estate agent Eliot Alper and his wife Yvonne Kinane-Wells from Las Vegas.
According to reports, Alper suffered a heart attack in mid-air. With the help of air traffic controllers and step-by-step instructions, Kinane-Wells made a safe emergency landing.
According to Alper's real estate agency,theLas Vegas Review-Journal wrote that Alper later died at the age of 78. He and Kinane-Wells had only married in February.
