The outburst can be seen in two videos that were leaked to"FOX 26". One of them shows a group of male passengers wrestling a man to the ground and tying him up.

When the flight from Denver landed at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston at around 11.10 p.m. (local time), the police were already waiting there.

According to the police, the troublemaker had tried to speak to a woman during the flight, who did not respond to him.

He then began to smash the airplane seat and the window, causing considerable damage to the glass.

After he was subdued by other passengers, he remained calm for the rest of the flight.

Eyewitnesses speak of a psychological state of emergency

Other passengers reported that the man appeared to be in a state of mental distress. He was shouting things in Spanish and asking people not to touch him.

"It was absolutely chaotic. The most terrifying thing I've ever experienced. We turned around and saw the guy just banging on the window and we immediately screamed for help," recalls Jessica Brown, one of the plane's passengers.

What will happen to the troublemaker now is unclear. Frontier Airlines decided not to press charges against him.
