Dangerous maneuver: Pilots abort take-off at 300 km/h, all tires burst
Santiago (Chile) - There was a dramatic incident involving a cargo plane in Chile . The pilots had to abort the take-off at the last second, and what followed could have ended badly for them.

On Saturday, the SkyLease Cargo plane was due to take off from the international airport in Santiago de Chile, as Aviation A2Z has now reported.
When it was almost fast enough to take off, the pilots suddenly had to abort the take-off.
During the dangerous braking maneuver, all 16 tires on the main landing gear suddenly burst due to the heat generated.
The airport's emergency services were immediately on the scene to prevent a possible fire.
It is not known why the pilots decided to abort the take-off at such short notice. It was probably a serious safety problem.
The plane is said to have been traveling at 300 kilometers per hour on the runway - a speed at which an abort would normally be far too dangerous.
