Cat does its business on the plane: woman has to leave the plane
USA - In a viral social media post, a young woman makes accusations against the airline Southwest Airlines. She claims she was kicked off the plane because of her cat.

In her post on X, Alex claims that her cat passed some feces and urine due to a rough landing.
Her seven-month-old pet Oni had been in a transport box. When she did her business, Alex grabbed some paper towels, cleaned everything up and then threw the dirty towels in the trash.
The flight attendants were friendly and understanding - but when Alex boarded the same plane again after the stopover, she discovered that the bin bag had not been changed.
In addition, new flight attendants had been on board in the meantime, who were not at all happy about the smell in the toilet and felt compelled to close the room.
According to Alex, one stewardess was particularly rude to her. She had to leave the plane again, accused of treating the lavatory like a litter box.
She was led outside in tears and she and her kitten were simply abandoned. Alex publicized the incident online and made serious accusations.
Woman has to leave plane: Voucher as compensation
The guidelines on the Southwest Airlines website state that pets exhibiting "disruptive behavior" may not be transported. This includes urinating or defecating in the cabin or passenger area.
Alex had to wait several hours with her cat for the next flight. She used the waiting time to clean Oni completely in the airport toilet. On the next plane, she was assured that she had done nothing wrong - as compensation, she was given a voucher for a future flight.
Southwest Airlines has not yet officially commented on the matter.
