A few minutes after landing: Plane bursts into flames - passengers save themselves on the wing
Denver/USA - Following repeated incidents involving aircraft in the USA in recent weeks , another plane has now caught fire.

The American Airlines plane was on its way from the US city of Colorado Springs to Dallas, Texas, last Thursday evening when the incident occurred.
As the New York Post reported, some crew members noticed unusual vibrations in the engine, which led to the plane being diverted to Denver airport.
Shortly after landing at around 5.15 p.m. (local time) and while the plane was taxiing over the tarmac, a fire suddenly broke out in the engine.
The 172 passengers and six crew members were immediately evacuated to safety via the emergency doors. Even though everyone was able to escape via the wings, twelve people had to be taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Thick, black clouds of smoke rose into the sky while the fire department tried with all their might to bring the flames under control.
It is still unclear what exactly caused the fire. The American FAA is now investigating the case.
